We bring the 5* Safari experience to those staying in all types of accommodation in and around the Greater Kruger area, but not necessarily within a Big 5 Game Reserve. We cater for young and old. We offer Standard Game drives, bush walks, walk & drive combo’s and speciality Wow Safaris & Activities.

Our guides are the best in the industry, highly qualified and trained with more than 17 years guiding and walking experience. We have taken what we have learned from working in some of the most pristine 5* Establishments and turned it into a day activity.

Our safaris are of highest quality and we can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

We have traversing rights on a Private Big 5 Reserve a mere 5 minutes drive from Hoedspruit. For those who do not want to self drive to the activity starting point can book a transfer directly with us.

Activity Description

Come and enjoy the thrill of a shared Afternoon Game Drive with Lowveld Odyssey. Safaris take place on a Private Game Reserve with big 5 animals. Our highly experienced and qualified guides use this opportunity to find as many animals as possible. Giving you the opportunity to view the incredible bushveld from the back of a open safari vehicle. You won’t just be searching for the big animals, but will see and learn about the birds, plants and other interesting fauna and flora. You can unwind and sit back as the warm Lowveld wind brushes through your hair. Mid-way through your safari you will stop for a afternoon sun-downer where you can sip on a inclusive beer, glass of wine or G&T and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush.

Weather We operate in most weather conditions. Should your safari be affected by any Act of God; alternative time slots will be allocated where possible.

What to Wear Comfortable Clothes and shoes, Hat. Please bring a light Jacket as it might be cool early mornings & late afternoons.

Things to Bring Camera Binoculars Jacket Extra water Medicine if needed or medication for allergies. Hat & Sun cream. Guide gratuity

Guests or Spectators No guest will be allowed on the safari without prior confirmation & payment.
