The Property – Paradise River Lodge, Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve
Paradise River Lodge enjoys a beautiful location on the banks of the Olifants River in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, about 35 km from Hoedspruit. This lodge has an abundance of bird- and wildlife for guests to enjoy.
Accommodation
The Lodge
The communal kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, kettle, toaster, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There are also two outdoor dining tables. The swimming pool is centrally located in the lodge, and there are sun loungers with chairs along the river which is ideal for relaxing. Secure parking is also available on the premises. There are several braai areas, enabling guests to end their day beside a boma fire or with a braai in privacy, while the Thick-tailed Bushbabies jump through the trees. The lodge offers self-catering, but also possible to book including braai, potjie and/or breakfast.
Other
We are located in Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, which is not a big 5 area. This is ideal for a nice early morning walk or run without the dangers. It is also possible to enjoy the flora and fauna in the area by means of a game drive or bush walk. Max is an excellent guide, who specializes mainly in birdlife. Maris has left the nursing proffession begind to ensure that the guests have everything they need. Everyone is personally welcomed on arrival with a complimentary bottle of our delicious house wine.
